Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas morning.  It started out with Athena opening her sock full of toys.

 Christmas was really enjoyable this year.  We all met at my parents to enjoy Christmas morning with our family.  Ken, William and I, Annie and Jared with their boys Joseph and Oliver, Carl and Stephanie with Rose and of course my parents.  We were sad that Donna and Shane and girls and Ben and Jenni and girls missed out but we thought of them.

       William, Oliver, and Rose are waiting to open presents.  "We can't wait!"

 Ken missed sitting on Santa's lap the night before so he had to sit on Carl's lap and tell him his wish list.

 We opened socks.  This was all Joseph could handle because he decided open presents was boring so he would go play on the computer while we opened presents.  What a silly boy maybe next year when he is 4 he will be more into presents.  We shall see.

 "What all the kids got us a new camera!?  That is not what I was expecting.  Now I have something to take pictures with when we go to Hawaii"

 Ken found a great hat that my parents gave him.  EAT MORE FAST FOOD

 William did a great job handing out the presents this year.  I think he enjoyed almost as much as his presents.

 William was excited to see a new hoodie and cold hard cash.  Gotta love it when you find money in your pockets!

 Ken's new real cowboy hat!  Boy did he make out.  Although I didn't get a picture I think the biggest surpise he had was when he opened up his new knives for hunting from William!

 William's biggest surprise was his new punching bag.  He had no idea santa would bring him that!

SANTA CAME FOR A VISIT

                            Joseph wasn't really sure he wanted to sit with Santa. So his mom sat on his lap.

                 Rose was going you sure sound like my daddy...  I don't know if I like this....

                            Santa told William a secret and then told him he needed to be good.

Christmas Swap

This year I was involved in a Christmas swap.  These are the goodies I received!

 I loved the Christmas bulbs and decoration to hang.  I was so sad that the LOVE bulb broke in the mail.

Thanksgiving

 We decorated ornaments for our cousin Wesley's First Christmas who is serving a mission

 We did our annual Puzzle that we do every Thanksgiving

Ken's birthday

Ken turned 40 in October and celbrated with a party!  Happy really late birthday!

Lots of advetures finally documented

* WARNING*  The past few months a lot of adventures have been made but not documented.  There are some the goings on finally documented.  Some are a little long.  Mostly pictures.

Trip to Nebraska

Diana made a trip to visit William in Nebraska.  We had a great time just spending some one on one time together.  We did the tourist things and had a great time.

Our first stop was the Stratigic Air and Space Museum

Our next stop was the Wildlife Preserve.  By far this was our favorite place we went.  There was a drive thru to see all the different animals and by far William and I liked the Elk and the buffalo the most. 

Our next stop was Mahony State Park.  We went miniture golfing which we really enjoyed and they had an observation tower where you could see a spectaular view.

The next day we went to the Omaha Zoo.

The last stop we made was at Winter Quarters and the Pioneer cemetary.  The Winter Quarters temple was next to the cemetary.
