
When William saw this on the day that was raining he said it looks like the Monument is crying. At the very top was two dots that flashed red and then the two windows for eyes. This picyure doesn't do it justice in the least.



We went to the Washington Memorial. I never realized just how tall it was. If you notice the different color on top it is because while building the monument a war broke out and so they had to stop building to put the money towards the war. Many years after the war was over they decided to start building on it again. They used the exact same marble from the same place but because there were so many years between the two times working on it the stone on the bottom was aged from the weather. This is one of the tallest masonary structures in the world.
